Anandha Traditional Arts and Music Ltd (ATAM) is a non profit arts organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting traditional arts and music from diverse regional cultures.
Our mission focuses on providing platforms to showcase various traditional folk art forms, archiving traditional art, facilitating artists in gaining market access, and safeguarding the intellectual properties of traditional artists.

As a prelude to Anandha Kondaattam - Singapore Indian Traditional Folk Arts Festival 2024, we aim to set a record for the Largest Mass Performance of Indian Traditional Folk Arts in Singapore, with an estimated 1200 participants on 13th July 2024 at Our Tampines Hub, Town Square.
This event organised in collaboration with SINDA, IHC, PA Narpani and UPTLC will bring together various Indian Traditional Folk Arts on one platform!

A non-ticketed and inaugural festival which aims to create an international platform for sharing, learning and showcasing of the Indian Traditional Folk Art forms.
This 2-day event held at the Esplanade – Theaters on the Bay would bring the Indian diaspora of Singapore, India and other ethnic communities together.
It positions Singapore as a global platform to showcase the rich multicultural tapestry of traditional folk arts.
International artistes, students, youths, seniors, migrant workers and local Traditional folk arts groups – Indian, Chinese and Malay, will be invited to perform and share at this platform.
As part of the festival, performances and dialogue sessions will take place for students and the public at selected venues.

Anandha Kannan fondly known as AK had inspired us all. He dedicated himself to the Arts fraternity in Singapore, India and internationally, leaving a lasting impression.
From a young start to a stellar career, AK, was a driving force in theatre and performing arts. He was trained in film production by luminaries like Padma Shri Na Muthusamy and international experts.
In the media industry, AK captivated audiences everywhere where he went, and excelled as a host and actor in popular shows like Jodi Porutham and Oor Kuruvi.
Beyond acting, he directed and wrote scripts, earning him accolades such as the International Youth Icon award, Best Actor, and Best Anchor. AK's journey is a testament to passion and excellence in the entertainment realm.
Beyond the stardom, AK recognised his calling and passion that steered him towards a noble cause – to preserve, promote and protect Traditional Indian folk arts. He pursued a life that epitomises hope, goodness and creativity. He dedicated himself to discovering, learning and sharing these rich cultural traditions as he strongly believed that ‘our heritage is our asset’.
Through many stage performances and productions, he worked tirelessly to bring Indian traditional folk arts such as parai and karagam to the forefront in Singapore's artistic landscape. His efforts have not only enriched the cultural fabric of the community but also provided a platform for these traditional art forms to thrive in a modern context. His commitment to preserving and showcasing Indian folk arts highlighted his deep-rooted connection to his heritage and his desire to share its beauty with a wider audience. This enduring dedication serves as a testament to his profound impact on the preservation of cultural traditions.
AK's journey serves as a shining example, reminding us of the transformative power of creativity and dedication.
